Tim Shelman

Tim Shelman is the type of person every promoter, sponsor and company dreams of supporting.  He’s a true advocate of the sport and a fan of everyone else at the track, competitor or not.  Tim cares more about having fun, representing his sponsors and taking pictures with kids than he does about hitting paydirt.  That said, Tim is no slouch.  He races the pro quad class in the WORCS series which will make a man out of anyone.  His priorities are just different and it shines through in his relationships with friends and family.  “It’s a family thing for us.  My wife Maria works for WORCS, and my daughter Allie tears it up in the mod classes.  When we stop having fun at this we’ll find something else that we can do together as a family.”  If you make it to a WORCS race, seek him out.  It’s likely to be the highlight of your day.

Favorite thing about your sport: Favorite thing has to be the people, they come from all walks of life. When I am at a national event or a local, people always smile and say “Hi”.
Favorite track/ride spot:  Favorite spot to ride has to be the 6,600 acres of old growth forest behind our house.
Parting Words: This sport has been the bond that keeps our family tight. My wife Maria works for WORCS,and my daughter Allie tears it up in the Am classes. When we stop having fun doing this we will all move on to something else together.
